What do you do and why do you do it?

I wear many different hats. Firstly I am an artist, singer-songwriter and the frontwoman of Free Free Dom Dom . Since I moved to Berlin a year and a half ago, I became a curator, and run the website “Curated By Girls” an online platform, driven by a strong mission of diversity and equality, giving visibility to emerging and established visual artists from all over the world. I’m also an influencer, which is such a fun job!

I am involved in many different projects but I am very dedicated to each of them. And I live in Berlin which is a very particular city, where you don't have to stick to just one thing. You can take time to explore. Life is about having your eyes and ears wide open and express yourself in the manner you feel more appropriated at one given moment.

If you weren’t doing that, what would you do?

I would be a cook. No! I’m kidding I’m the worst cook ever! Well I don't imagine myself doing anything else really. I’ve always known I was an artist.

What excites you about Berlin?

Berlin is a lot of things that makes it the best city to live in when you are an artist. It is full of creators, full of people from around the world wanting to explore and find themselves, full of people wanting to share an experience. It is a capital where you can have a decent life with minimum. And the atmosphere is really chill compared to other big cities. Berlin is not about maximum profit, It has a human feel.

Has living in Berlin impacted your music taste?

Of course it did. Berlin's reputation in the electronic genre is impossible to miss. But it didn't only impacted on the music but in all the creative fields.

 How about your style?

My style is not the typical underground Berliner wearing black from head to toe. I love colors too much. Can't live without them. But what I love here, is that you can wear anything and people won’t judge. So I am more relaxed about wearing what I want.

What’s your favourite Native Youth piece?

I love the high neck sweater. It actually inspired my miss Potato pic ! It’s very stylish, original, AND soooo comfy!

The Raka Sweatshirt makes the perfect Miss Potato ensemble.

Who do you think dresses well?

I guess anyone who has a sense of what fits them. It’s not about following a trend, it’s about following your own style and taste. It’s incredible how fashion can reveal about you. I love Soko’s style. She’s very free, and she’s herself.

If you could change anything about Berlin, what would it be?

The weather…  but then it wouldn't be Berlin anymore. People wouldn't come here for the same reasons and the vibe of the city would change completely.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Relax baby! Enjoy the moment, and DON”T let anyone tell you what to do!

What is your greatest accomplishment so far?

My greatest accomplishment is the journey I have been doing so far. I mean looking back I have done so many things and I can't just pick one thing as the best. I have enjoyed most of my journey. And even the darker days seem fun now.

What does the future hold for Little Voice?

The future is full of mystery. I am working on several big projects with amazing people: a music video, an Ep, art exhibitions, travels. I wanna bring Curated by Girls overseas. And I am gonna live it all to the fullest.

That’s all folks!

Thank you and take care Native Youth!
