Earth-friendly Swimwear

Native Youth recycled polyester swimwear is back this summer season with all new signature eye catching prints and patterns.

It is predicted that by 2050 there will be more plastic waste in the world’s oceans than there will be fish. According to the World Wildlife Fund, one plastic bottle takes approximately 450 years to break down. While our single-use plastic addiction is declining there is still a massive problem in our aquatic ecosystems.
At Native Youth we are committed to implementing sustainable processes and using more recycled and organic materials throughout our different product segments. It is important we all make more conscious and positive choices - dressing responsibly is the beginning of a new future.
We are proud our entire swimwear collection is made using recycled polyester, fabricated from plastic bottles. Each short contains roughly 11 PET bottles!
To be reused, the bottles are sorted, cleaned and stripped of labels and caps, melted down into little pellets and then spun into yarn to make garments.
Our production process is certified in line with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The GRS is an international standard with strict requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, chemical restrictions, social and environmental requirements.
